Contains 22 items being correspondence, reports and drafts of papers [by SZ?] on the bombing of built-up areas to create road-blocks and the effectiveness od such operations, with particular reference to those in France, in support of Operation Overlord. Included are drafts in English of the text of a leaflet addressed to "the inhabitants of certain towns and villages of France" from General Eisenhower warning of imminent attacks by allied air forces on transport system targets and airfields. The leaflets were to be dropped by aircraft shortly before D-Day.
