G.S. Callendar – Guy Stewart Callendar was a steam engineer and amateur meteorologist who is known for his work on the theory of global warming. His collection contains notebooks, correspondence and other documents.
Everest – Composed largely of photographic material, this collection documents the international travels of Joan Millachip (née Everest) and her husband Henry John Anthony Millachip.
Hill Papers - John Edward Bernard Hill served as a Member of Parliament for South Norfolk for 19 years and developed an agricultural estate in Suffolk. This collection includes personal and other papers, as well as a large quantity of photographic material.
Holloway – A collection of printed ephemera relating to the arts and culture in Britain from the early 1960s. Includes brochures, pamphlets, leaflets and more.
Isokon Trust – The Trust set up in 1999 to find an organisation interested in funding the restoration and refurbishment of the iconic Isokon Flats, Lawn Road, Hampstead.
Kenney Papers – The personal papers of suffragette sisters, Annie and Jessie Kenney. This collection consists of letters, photographs, press-cuttings, unpublished manuscripts, books and memorabilia relating to their lives and activism. Guide (PDF).
H.H Lamb – Correspondence and research papers from the Founding Director of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at UEA. Guide (PDF).
Stefan Muthesius’ Papers – Stefan Muthesius is an architectural and design historian who taught at UEA from 1968 until his retirement. Included in this collection are research papers, correspondence, interviews and proofs for the publication of his books.
Pevsner Art Catalogue Collection – a collection of published art gallery catalogues, art and artists’ pamphlets, bequeathed by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner.
Pritchard Papers – Papers of modernist architects and designers of the thirties, furniture design and the iconic Isokon Flats, Lawn Road, Hampstead.
Theatre – We have three theatre collections in our Archives. These include the Tinkler and Williams, Theatre Quarterly and Fisher Theatre collections.
Frank Thistlethwaite – Founding Vice-Chancellor of UEA, Frank Thistlewaite wrote widely on American History, the origins of UEA and his own family’s history. His archive includes official papers of the UEA. Guide (PDF).
UEA Collection – A core collection of documents including books, journals, correspondence and individual recordings deposited by staff, alumni and other persons associated with the University.
Zuckerman – Personal papers of Solly Zuckerman, documenting his academic and public careers as British public servant, zoologist and operational research pioneer. Guide to the Zuckerman Archive as a whole, to the World War II papers, and to the Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) papers. There is also a minor which relates to a later deposit.
