Contains miscellaneous papers on the history of UEA. The papers were collected by Professor J.R. Jones, Honorary Project Director of the History of UEA Project and initially covered the period 1963-1989. In a memo by Frank Thistlethwaite, 31/05/1978 [UEA/JONES/16], he proposes the appointment of Prof. J.R. Jones as Honorary Project Director of a project on the history of UEA. These assorted papers probably originated from the offices of the Pro-Vice-Chancellors: Prof. J.R. Jones and Prof. M.J. Frazer, as well as Prof J.W. Fletcher (School of European Studies).

These papers were in the archive store for a couple of years before being sorted in 01/2006. Where appropriate they have been weeded, may be added to, and will continue to be rationalised against other UEA collection material.
