SZ discusses his and Barclay's meeting with Allison, Dean, and Thomas at Newton Abbot. The blast injuries are identical to the sort SZ has been getting in his experiments. Asks whether Wakeley could arrange post mortems on men killed by blast. Another useful measure would be the establishment of a mobile unit of naval medical officers to investigate naval blast injuries. SZ would also like to discuss splinter wounds with Wakeley when they got the chance.
