"Two German 250 kg S.C. bombs were exploded in clay soil in Richmond Park. The resulting earth displacements and accelerations at distances from 30 to 900 ft. from the bombs were recorded. There was some difference between the permanent movements for the two bombs, and also between the crater profiles, due probably to the difference in the nature of the soil in which the bombs were exploded." Graphs and tables are included.

Report to the Ministry of Home Security.
