Five 100 lb. bombs filled with black powder, torpex, 60/40 amatol, minol and hexanite respectively, were exploded at depths of 7 ft. 6 in. in clay soil at Richmond Park.

The crater diameters, permanent earth movements, acceleration-time curves, and velocity of the earth wave were measured. Tables and graphs are included. An addendum note is attached.

Report to the Ministry of Supply.
