Scope and content

The first part of this "Interim Memorandum" provides tentative and preliminary results to the laws of penetration of projectiles in concrete. Additional experimental data is under analysis. The data were collected between 1941 and 1942.

The second part of the report, 1941-1942, No. 18, gives a brief summary of data on penetration in concrete at various scales, by Richard A. Beth. Tables and graphs of penetration data and explosions tests are included.
