Semi-armour piercing bombs were striking normally at velocities within range 680 - 1,600 foot/sec., and they showed results of depth penetration and crater diameter of inert bombs. When Polar Ammon gelignite was detonated in the bomb in the crater, there was no change in the depth of the crater although the volume was increased. Tables, diagrams and graphs are included.

Report to the Ministry of Home Security.
