Fulton passed on SZ's queries regarding [Allan] Palmer's work and staffing matters to Southworth, Callender and Weed. Action was immediately taken. A meeting of the Wound Ballistics Conference would take place on 16/6/44. The recognition given to Howard Florey is acknowledged by Fulton, and he mentions Fleming's contribution to penicillin. Fulton mentions the work [Lewis] Weed has heaped on him, and a meeting the following week at John Lawrence's laboratory in California.
