Top and carbon copies of a typescript English translation, both of which are headed "Copy". Item [SZ/AEAF/7/4/3] has been annotated in MS "SNCF French Plan. Targets [with?] Rwy info. Major Maynard to see and file".
The plan was submitted to SOE jointly by the Traffic Director of SNCF and the French resistance movements and recommends strategic attacks on marshalling yards, in conjunction with attacks on German reinforcements moving into France and sabotage action, in support of Operation Overlord. The paper details the kind of operations which should be employed (bombing, machine gunning), the type of target, and key targets.
