Scope and content
This series relates to notebooks and diaries belonging to Sarah Maguire, with the exception being subseries SMa/7/4. Material has been sorted into four subseries by characteristics:
SMa/7/1: Desk Diaries. Used primarily for organisational purposes.
SMa/7/2: Personal Diaries. Used primarily for personal purposes rather than organisational purposes.
SMa/7/3: Notes. Includes notebooks and unbound notes.
SMa/7/4: Others. Diaries and notebooks belonging to other people. Diary belongs to Sarah's father, Eugene Maguire.
Notebooks that contain poetry are filed in SMa/1/1. Notebooks used for Poetry Translation Centre (PTC) purposes are filed in SMa/3. Notebooks that consist entirely of material relating to studies are filed in SMa/10. Some items have been closed due to DPA.
