Scope and content

Isokon (Lawn Road) Ltd is periodically approached by developers and estate agents enquiring about buying Lawn Road Flats. In 1968 the Pritchard family seriously wanted to sell the property. Negotiations with the Hospital for Sick Children fell through and it was eventually sold to the New Statesman & Nation Publishing Company Ltd in 1969. Three years later they sold it to Camden Borough Council. Pritchard was still a tenant of flat 32 and his correspondence with the owners over the years is included in this file.
