Two annotated typed copies of a lecture given by Jack Pritchard in Oxford. Jack Pritchard compares training and education in Britain and Europe especially in science and technology from the mid 18th century. He goes on to describe Walter Gropius' escape from Germany to England and the collaboration between Marcel Breuer and Harry Mansell in Isokon which produced the Isokon Long Chair. Jack Pritchard outlines the three guiding principles of the Bauhaus and calls for a closer association between art and science in education. Annotated "copy sent to Tom Sutcliff BBC (4.2.83)."
