Jack Pritchard discusses the life and work of Walter Gropius before his departure to the United States of America, the Bauhaus its aims and ideas. He discusses the commissioning of Impington Village College by Henry Morris. Jack Pritchard compares the views of Walter Gropius and William Morris to industrialisation and goes on to discuss "the problems facing designers and craftsmen of to-day" and calls for a closer association between art and science.
