Letter, 5/9/2011. MS. 3 leaves. Nick is a retired schoolteacher. Jack Reacher is his firm favourite and sorting out ‘Bully’s’ has been his lifelong work. He asks LC to give permission for his books to be made into films. “The ‘Bourne’ trilogy was an outstanding success both in print and on film.” He foresees a problem in finding the right actor to play Reacher; current tough guys being either too old, too short or not possessing those ‘steely blue eyes’.
