Letter, 28/8/2007. MS. With envelope. John had just finished reading ‘Bad Luck and Trouble’. “Superbly done. Manoeuvring those four protagonists as separate personalities was amazing.” He believes LC should write a separate series about one (or both) of the special investigators. He prefers Karla Dixon as she’s more like Reacher – no job, no assets, and 100 percent reliable. Frances Neagley is also appealing. John gives LC full license to use his suggestion.
