Cruise, Tom, 1962-
Reacher, Jack (fictitious character) -- Character
Letter, 28/11/2012. TS. With envelope. Alex enjoyed the ‘hero’ character in the first two books but then he changed into a typical private eye and there began too many conversations. Whenever a female is also looking for the bad guy the conversations are polite “hardly a story about a tough guy trying to vanquish the bad guy.”
In ‘A Wanted Man’ there is too much of the female cop talking and insufficient action. Alex has bought his last LC book. “No wonder you have Tom Cruise playing Reacher’s part. He’s good at talking to girls and should bring you millions more dollars.”
Notecard, 15/8/2013. MS. With envelope. Alex repeats his complaints about the books and writes that LC has not replied to his four letters.
