Adrian reviews The Crucible and University Challenge. Keswick T.C. beat UEA 5-1 in hockey, they also beat UEA in badminton but in the football UEA beat them 2-1.
‘Wednesday was a Union meeting to discuss the Vice-Chancellor, in particular to give the Council our backing in insisting on our constitution for the Union and not his. In particular he would deny us the right to seek election of a fresh council in the course of the year.’
Mentions Mike Gibson had not returned from Micklepage Farm and a rumour had circulated that someone had been sent down.
Adrian had attended the Labour Club where there’d been a speech by the Central Norfolk candidate on aspects of socialism. He comments on University Challenge participants.
