Anthony Cooke was a member of faculty (Chief Technician) in the School of Biological Sciences, 1962-1970. He subsequently moved to the University of Kent.

This sub-collection was donated to UEA by Anthony James Dixon Cooke in July 1996. The photos of the Village were deposited in 2025.
Scope and content
Contains early papers of the UEA Staff Association including runs of the newsletter Nexus. Includes photographs of the Village under construction, papers relating to the School of Biology, its buildings, laboratories, equipment and architect’s plans. Also includes papers relating to staff and press-cuttings on a 1969 technicians pay strike.
