The introductory pages contain calligraphy and illuminated art including the coat of arms.
The first signatories are on the opening of the University Village, 28 September 1963. Other signatories include Royal Family members, ambassadors and many foreign dignatories, vice-chancellors, academics, politicians and the portrait painter Michael Noakes.
