Scope and content
This paper reports on the significant rise in the incidence of perforated peptic ulcer in the raids of 1940 and the flying bomb attacks of 1944. The rise in 1944 was however not so marked as that in 1940. The greater incidence of perforations under raiding conditions is directly attributable to the effects of the raids themselves.

Two copies. Final papers are at [SZ/OEMU/59/56/1-2].
