Explosions -- Physiological effect
Examines haemorrhagic lesions in internal organs of experimental animals due to the blast of high explosive. Besides the direct effects of blast, humans are often violently displaced during explosions and this can cause pulmonary haemorrhages. It is suggested that attention be paid to internal injury due to indirect blast effects.
