Scope and content

Describes overseas Air Forces who have organised operational research sections for coping with scientific and analytical type problems. These personnel are taken from civilian life. Due to the success of these groups in air operations, it is proposed that similar groups be employed in ground and amphibious operations in all theatres. Suggestions for the type of problems they might solve are listed.
