Hamerton is sending a sample of armadillo skin. There is no pachyderm skin available "but a big-time bomb is lying near the den of the £2000 [sic] Indian Rhinoceros! We expect the bomb to explode at any minute and bump off the Rhino - We will send along any scraps of skin that may be left after the explosion - if it occurs." If the bomb does not explode there will be a long wait for a pachyderm to die naturally. If the need is urgent Hamerton suggests SZ try Gerrards.
