This analysis deals with army casualties which occurred on shore or within 1.5 miles of the shore. No naval personnel are included. The analysis includes the number of casualties occurring in each hour of the operation. Casualties caused by various weapons are determined. Degrees of incapacitation are referred to and regional incidence of wounds.
