Describes the progress in research in S.E. Asia. An Interservice Research Committee at Supreme Command level is described. Kendrew includes a list of problems on which work is progressing. The commitments of the Operational Research Section are reported to be 90% radar. Staff are awaited to be sent from England. Bernal is asked to assist in this regard. Staff requirements are outlined.
