Green describes the ongoing need for A.A. crew body armour. Particularly for personnel on light A.A. guns, who are very unprotected, body armour is still required and it should also protect against A.P. bullets. He mentions Malta as a site where protection against bomb and shell splinters would be useful.
Green feels that with the end of the European War, and with A.A. Command being no longer operational, it should be up to the War Office to pursue research on body armour with the relevant research and development body.
