SZ describes the recent research into light body armour for protection against bomb, shell and mortar fragments. Although the armour is thought to be of little value to ground troops, Green's opinion of the value of such armour to light and heavy A.A. crews is sought. Enclosed is a report, which was presented to Gereral Pile, and a paper on tests carried out on American flak-suits [not included].
