Referring to Sorsby and Tanner's proposed monographs on war surgery, Newfield asks SZ whether he is still of the opinion that it is not the right time to publish the volume on blast injuries. There is also the book of SZ's lecture notes which they spoke about a couple of years ago. Newfield wonders if SZ will ever get round to that. There is also a gap in the market for a student's introduction to sexual physiology which SZ could write. Mentions his family; his son is staying at Raymond Swing's in Connecticut. Also mentions the Maynells.
