Edward Mellanby has suggested SZ write to Prof. Elliott for advice concerning the effects of blast. SZ has discovered that it is not decompression caused by blast that produces fatal lung lesions but the effect of blast pressure on the chest. On behalf of Dr Stradling SZ is now trying to discover whether lesser lesions are also recognised syndromes in blast injuries. Mentions Whitteridge.
