World War, 1939-1945 -- Air raid casualties.
Garwood, F. recipient
R.C. 107
In order to get some idea of the probable extent of air raid damage, an investigation was planned to discover what would be the result of intense air raids directed on the City of Coventry. Points were marked on 25 in. ordnance survey maps of the district [included] to represent the bombs, and an attempt was made to assess the damage and casualties which might reasonably be expected to result from the explosion of 250 kg. bombs. Included is a page of handwritten notes.
Report written by J.D. Bernal and F. Garwood.
