Describes why a small-scale model bomb is impractical. The alternative suggestion was for an attempt to be made on finding the effect of a standard charge on the walls of a cylindrical container. Experiments on such a design are described. Drawings, and halftone illustrations, showing the ends of the bomb after firing, are included.
