It is hoped that SZ would return to England via Washington. The N.R.C. and Aberdeen Proving Ground are keen to involve SZ in the field project on wound ballistics. The transfer of Palmer, as requested by SZ, to assist in the research, is discussed in detail. SZ is asked to urgently pass comments on Newton Harvey's proposal for a contract on wound ballistic research. Fulton congratulates SZ on the recognition he received in connection with Combined Operations Headquarters. Encloses `Casualty statistics in relation to offensive weapons' [not attached] and the `Information that is sought in wound ballistics' [not attached].
