Palmer asks to be remembered to Sampson Handley. Emmens was expecting to see SZ and Peter Krohn, but SZ's plans had changed. Palmer expects his Citroen to arrive on board the SS Washington in San Francisco.
Palmer had conferred with a representative from the Historical Unit in the Pentagon, and medical officer at the Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, for 5 days, regarding publication of various reports on Battle Casualty Survey. Their reports should be published by the end of the year in a volume entitled `Wound Ballistics and Body Armour'. Included are contents page details of `Wound Ballistics and Personnel Protective Armour'.
