SZ remarks on Palmer obtaining the assistance of a Vice-President of the United States, a Senator, and an ex-Chief of the Army Medical Services, in the declassifying and publishing of his war studies report. He explains that the declassification of the copy in England was not authorised by the British. He mentions not having heard from Bob Robertson. SZ would not be in New York in May, but in the autumn. He describes his family's ill health.
