Cairns suggests that the Helmets Sub-Committee of the MPRC consider the question of recommending the adoption of the American Army steel helmet in place of the existing British steel helmet. He writes that SZ agrees. A description of the American helmet is included, and its advantages. A comparison of the British, American, and MRC type of steel helmet is included.
