Mathewson believes that Major Trollope left a telephone for the use of Mr and Mrs Mathewson. It has since been removed and objections have been raised to Mrs Mathewson's use of the telephone in SZ's office, despite SZ's secretary sanctioning it. Mathewson will approach the Ministry, the Post Office, and Ellen Wilkinson about the matter, as SZ has no authority to remove a telephone from a private residence and then forbid the use of that telephone by the person from whose premises it was removed.
