Atlantic College was extremely grateful for SZ's intervention and assistance in furthering affairs in the United States. SZ should postpone writing to the Ford Foundation until after the trustee of the Foundation, Mr Bethuel Webster, had visited the College. Sir Lawrence Darvall had written to Dr Hornig stressing the importance of obtaining influential American support.
