Williams, E. C. recipient
Marshall and Thomson had not yet arrived in the United Kingdom. It was hoped that Marshall's delay in reporting to the American authorities would not cause further problems. SZ was going to have A.P.D. Thomson contact the Director of Biological Research, War Office, and try and have him remain in the United Kingdom.
SZ was pleased that Williams was continuing the Bombing Survey Unit. He suggests that all requests for work be directed to Capon.
SZ discusses in detail the effects of the bombing of railway bridges, lines and centres on transport and German supplies. He comments on the papers of Dorr and Slessor who mentioned findings in relation to this.
