Operation Strangle
Williams, E. C. recipient
Describes Marshall and Thomson's progress in the analysis of the material which they brought back from the Mediterranean. A piece of equipment had caused delays.
SZ was pleased that Williams was studying the records from the Ministry of Communications. Neither Menzies nor Capon had contacted SZ regarding the Bombing Survey Unit.
SZ asks to be told of any further conclusions which could be drawn about the interdiction programme in the Mediterranean. According to Norstad, Operation Strangle was not only concerned with the destruction of bridges.
