Tedder, Arthur William, recipient
Explains that the Ministry of Home Security had agreed to SZ borrowing 16 of their officers to carry out a survey of bombing efforts in Sicily. SZ mentions that the conclusions reached after the Pantelleria report had been read, were being put before the Graham Committee. He discusses the importance of the destruction of the enemy's air force, and suggests that enemy air fields be given a higher priority as bombing targets. The question of cutting enemy communication links is also highlighted.
