Scope and content
Speer is not sure that the new Home Secretary [Roy Jenkins] would like Speer to visit England. His previous visit, arranged by Lud Kennedy, was only possible due to the intervention of the then Home Secretary, a Conservative [Robert Carr]. Speer does not wish to cause trouble by visiting England, but he wants to spare SZ the inconvenience of a journey to Heidelberg. A joint article resulting from the discussion would be a good idea, and maybe even a recording for the BBC archives. The BBC already has an interview between Speer, George Ball, and Trevor-Roper.
