SZ writes on behalf of himself and Mr Brant of the Railway Research Service. The letter deals with a "Casualty Paper" from MOHS RE.8 and apparent discrepancies between estimates in and those suppied earlier by RE to Air Commodore Bufton, Director of Bomber Operations, Air Minstry. The letter also discusses the identification and elimination from the AEAF Transportation plan of "high casualty risk targets".

Copy [SZ/AEAF/7/1/16a] has appended a two-page table 'French and Belgian railway targets classified according to estimated civilian casualties', which rearranges the list of targets according to the number of fatal casualties anticipated.
