Addressed to the Chief of Staff, 21 Army Group and Senior Air Staff Officer, AEAF. Bull refers to a letter, reference SHAEF/17209/Ops (A), 25/6/44 and reports that a request has been received from the Director General of Military Railways that certain "major structures on the railway BREST - MORLAIX - ST BRIEUC - RENNES" be preserved and that the reconstruction of the route may now be undertaken. Appendix A "Major Engineering Structures - Rail L of C" and a printed map of the Cherbourg Peninsula at scale 1:1400,000, 2nd (Revised) edition, 2/6/44, issued by G-2 SHAEF and reproducing on SNCF map, are attached.
