Scope and content

Comments on the paper 'Operation "Overlord", Delay and Disorganisation of Enemy Movement by Rail' [SZ/AEAF/3/3/5]'. The author draws attention to subsequent modifications to the plan examined in that paper and states that its authors "have adopted an 'all or nothing' principle in their attitude to the A.E.A.F. preparatory plan" and attributed to it objects that have not in fact been declared. Their arguments "bear very little relation either to the facts of the case or to the purpose of the A.E.A.F. plan".
