Loose minute in which SZ briefly comments on the report by C.E.R. Sherrington of the Railway Research Service. The report had been sent to AEAF in advance of distribution. SZ indicates that it will "require some amplification before it can be circulated" and has already written to Sherrington with "a few questions" [see SZ/AEAF/1/8/8].

SZ focusses on the correlation of evidence in the report on the level of German troop movements in France in June 1944 with that which he had derived from other data, notibly from the SHAEF [Intelligence] Digest.
