The Archive was gifted to UEA by the Sarah Maguire Literary Estate.

This series, SMa/3, relates to the Poetry Translation Centre (PTC).

The majority of material was found in boxes together, as left by Sarah Maguire. The material has been organised into the following sub-series:

SMa/3/1 (Translations):
Literary translations undertaken by the PTC, some by Sarah Maguire in her role at PTC.

SMa/3/2 (Correspondence):
Correspondence to and from the PTC and Sarah Maguire within her role at PTC.

SMa/3/3 (Third Party Works):
Literary translations and other works (including poetry and essays) that have not been done by the PTC, but sent to or gathered by the PTC. Organised in alphabetical order by creator's surname. Includes photocopies of sections of books and some correspondence. Also includes material in Arabic.

SMa/3/4 (Reviews and Press Cuttings):
Reviews and press cuttings relating to the PTC and its work. Includes whole magazines and material in Arabic.

SMa/3/5 (Events):
Material relating to events hosted, or attended, by members of the PTC. This includes flyers, schedules, evaluations and other material. This also includes material related to travel (tickets, correspondence, receipts).

SMa/3/6 (Research):
Press cuttings and printed articles that do not relate directly to the work of the PTC, but concerns relevant topics, including languages, world culture and poetry.

SMa/3/7 (Business Papers):
Material includes contracts, invoices, meeting notes, business proposals and administrative papers.

SMa/3/8 (Digital):
Digital material related to the PTC.
