Scope and content
This series relates to conferences, festivals, competitions and awards that Sarah Maguire took part in, or attended. Material has been sorted into two subseries:
SMa/14/1: Material relating to events that SMa actively took part in (evidence of this).
SMa/14/2: Material relating to events that SMa did not actively take part in, or there is no clear evidence that she was personally involved with, other than with attendance.
Material within the subseries has been further sorted into type of event. See SMa/1/8 for poetic material created by Sarah Maguire that was used for submissions and applications for awards and competitions. For events related to the Poetry Translation Centre, see SMa/3/5. Material relating to teaching undertaken by Sarah Maguire on writing courses is filed in SMa/9; material relating to Sarah Maguire attending a writing course as a participant is filed here, in SMa/14. Further, related correspondence about events will be found in SMa/11.
