Huxley, Aldous, 1894-1963
Huxley, Julian. recipient
Jack Pritchard, having experienced intimations of mortality during a recent period in hospital, had been moved to "say some wordsof thanks to those few who have helped me to live a fuller life than I could have done without their influence", among whom he numbered Julian Huxley. He refers in particular to "the early P.E.P. days", meeting Julian and Aldous Huxley and reading their books, especially Aldous Huxley's `Island'.
