Pullman Car Company Ltd
Harben, Philip recipient
Postgate believes the poor response from other members means he was not alone in finding [Charles Lloyd Jones'] blurb unattractive. Postgate insists he is correct about there being only a small amount of wine available. He feels "rather discouraged" about the [Half Hundred] club, and wonders "whether it really does serve any purpose" and uses the rejection of the Pullman Company's offer [of a club meal on a train] as evidence that the club has no "interest in improving English food."
